To join Boy Scouts of America, you must be a boy at the age of 11, in the 5th grade, or have achieved your Arrow of Light in Cub Scouts. We are sponsored by Kiwanis of Ashville Ohio. Our Scoutmaster, Tom Leach is one of the best around. We as a troop go on many campouts and events. If anybody has any questions, Tom Leach is always available to talk to, or the Webmaster is available and will answer any and all questions ASAP! Troop 159 has about 30 registered scouts, and at least half of them are very active. Within scouting, there is an organization called, OA, which means Order of the Arrow. This organization allows higher ranked and more knowledgeable scouts to participate in certain activities and help provide camporees.

To come to a Troop 159 Scout Meeting, come to the Village Chapel Church in Ashville. We meet every Monday Night at 7:00 Pm. Every night we have a different event planned, whether it be, a merit badge, knots, first-aid, or just achieving some of the boys’ rank requirements. We have wonderful Leaders that help us with everything!
